Since 1998 the HSR Staff Alumni Bursary has been awarded annually to a current staff member or members of HSR who will be attending a post secondary education institution the following year and has shown a continuing contribution to the camp and/or Scouting in general. Applications are distributed by the Greater Toronto Council in the spring of each year, and are also available online.
The amount to be awarded and number of recipients will be determined each year. Recipients must make application and are selected by a Bursary Selection Committee. Recipients will be announced at the annual Alumni Weekend.
The Bursary is funded by designated donations, special fund-raising activities and from other monies designated by the Alumni Executive Committee. For further information, you can email the Bursary Chair.
