HSR Alumni Weekend

*** Note *** the Alumni weekend will not be held at the Scout Reserve in 2022 due to the camps closure this summer. An Alternate Venue is being pursued for 2022 and will be announced on the Alumni Facebook page.

The HSRSAA Alumni Weekend is usually held the weekend following the August holiday Monday, and includes camping, cookouts, Saturday dinner with staff in the Hub, the annual “Hub ‘n’ Cub” open mic, the awarding of this year’s HSRSAA Bursary, and some other opportunities to enjoy what the camp and its property have to offer. A full programme for the weekend will be published on the Alumni Facebook page prior to the weekend. There will of course be plenty of time for hikers to explore the trails, paddlers to take out a boat and swimmers to go jump in the lake.

The HSRSAA Annual General Meeting will be held on the Sunday morning, which is an important opportunity for the Executive to report on its activities over the past year as well as hear fresh ideas from the membership on future directions.

This is an excellent opportunity to return to HSR to hang around with staff past, long-past and present, who all shared the common experience of spending the summer months working there. We hope to see you all there.
